Wow!
Who said that there is no big
deer in the area? Kortney
sure didn't think so when this
nice guy came through.
Kortney got this fantastic
looking buck on opening
day. |

Kortney
isn't new to the outdoors, she
also sent in a few nice pictures
of the Turkeys taken by her and
her brother Chris.
I'll post those later in the
week. For now, I'm
going back out on my stand.

Wow!
I sat in a stand for something
like 7 days and never saw
anything that even
resembled a deer. While
talking to other members of the
Mille Lacs Whitetails, I heard
all sorts of excuses why the
deer were not around.
Guess what!! Another one
of our members, Isaiah Knudtren
(age 13) takes this nice looking
buck. This is
Isaiah's first deer and one to
be proud of at that. Why
do I think we'll be seeing more
of Isaiah as time goes on.
Once again it goes to prove that
our area is capable of producing
some very nice deer.
